West Nile virus infections confirmed in two Washington residents

The Washington State Department of Health today confirmed two human cases of West Nile virus. It's the first in the state since 2010. A Pierce County woman in her 70s was likely exposed to the virus while traveling out of state; a Yakima man in his 30s hadn’t left the state.
