Now in its 23rd year, the Nisqually Watershed Festival is an annual celebration of nature featuring art, discovery music and family fun. This year’s festival will include a free lecture series, walking tours, musical entertainment and great coffee and food options. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.
Bring your own t-shirt to the festival to make a fish print with a Nisqually salmon! Or, take part in the free lecture series that consist of short 30-minute presentations about watershed topics and issues. Lectures start at the top of each hour, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free parking and shuttle to the festival will be available at River Ridge High School, 350 River Ridge Drive, Lacey.
The event is free and open to all ages. Click here for more details!
