Start off the new year by learning skills to help increase energy and decrease stress during free meditation workshops at four Pierce County Libraries.
Meditation expert, Ajili Hodari, will share how meditation can reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration, and enhance clarity of thought. Hodari will teach a meditation technique that can enrich a person’s life personally, professionally, and spiritually.
The free meditation workshops will be available at the following Pierce County Libraries:
- Milton/Edgewood Pierce County Library, Surprise Lake Square, 900 Meridian E., Suite 29, Milton on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2 p.m.
- Summit Pierce County Library, 5107 112th St. E., Tacoma on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2 p.m.
- Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
- University Place Pierce County Library, 3609 Market Place W., Suite 100 on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 7 p.m.
