Start your weekend with a breakfast that supports wear blue: run to remember

If you can’t run, we know you can eat. Come support one of the fastest growing, and in our opinion, most important running groups in the South Sound, wear blue: run to remember.

Grab your kids and your parents, and join your neighbors for breakfast on Saturday morning, April 21, at McNamara’s Pub & Eatery for a fundraiser for wear blue: run to remember, the non-profit running community that serves as a living memorial for the service and sacrifice of the American military.

wear blue: run to remember runs every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. The group starts at Powderworks Park, and traverses their way through the beautiful city of DuPont. They do this to build a support network, bridge the gap between the military and community, and to build the living memorial. They train to run in marathons in order to show thousands of people the power and purpose of wear blue.

Doing so requires funding. They don’t run to raise money, but raise money to run. By coming to the breakfast fundraiser, you will help fund a Saturday running event, enable members to run in a marathon and assist with the overall expenses of accomplishing our mission.

Prices for Saturday’s breakfast fundraiser at McNamara’s Pub and Eatery are children’s plates at $4.99 and adult fares for $9.99.

The event runs from 7 to 11 a.m.  McNamara’s Pub and Eatery is located at 1595 Wilmington Drive, in DuPont.
