The Town of Steilacoom released their 2012 Summer Concert Schedule for Pioneer Park this week. Concerts will begin on Wednesday, June 13, and will be held every Wednesday until August 29. The music starts at 6:30 p.m.
The 2012 line up includes the 133 Army National Army Band, Army Dixie Land and Big Band, Michael Powers, David Correra & Cascada, Danny Vernon and many others.
A six-piece men’s a capella group called ‘For His Glory’ will kick off the 2012 season with their performance on June 13.
Pioneer Park is located at 1700 Commercial Street in Steilacoom. If there is inclement weather, the Steilacoom Community Center is the alternate site for the concerts. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any of Steilacoom’s parks.
The Steilacoom Farmers Market is also held on Wednesday’s starting June 13 from 3 to 7 p.m.
